Bruce H. Lipton PhD - Explains How & Why You Should Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind
Bruce H. Lipton, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Stem cell biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award, he has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote presenter for national and international conferences.
Dr. Lipton began his scientific career as a cell biologist. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville before joining the Department of Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Lipton’s research on muscular dystrophy, studies employing cloned human stem cells, focused upon the molecular mechanisms controlling cell behavior.
In 1982, Dr. Lipton began examining the principles of quantum physics and how they might be integrated into his understanding of the cell’s information processing systems.
His research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, between 1987 and 1992, revealed that the environment, operating though the membrane, controlled the behavior and physiology of the cell, turning genes on and off. His discoveries, which ran counter to the established scientific view that life is controlled by the genes, presaged one of today’s most important fields of study, the science of epigenetics. Two major scientific publications derived from these studies defined the molecular pathways connecting the mind and body. Many subsequent papers by other researchers have since validated his concepts and ideas.
SUBLIMINAL PROOF IN ACTION
Derren Brown, the British illusionist, is a master of subliminal suggestion techniques. So clever, in fact, that he turned the tables on the advertisers and used their techniques against them. The best part is they didn't even realize he’s was doing it. Look at this interesting experiment that Derren set up, to subliminally manipulate two advertising creatives into doing exactly what he wanted. The results speak for themselves.
LOSING WEIGHT STUDY
Study: Silverman, L.H., Martin, A., Ungaro, R., and Mendelsohn, E. "Effect of Subliminal Stimulation of Symbiotic Fantasies on Behavior Modification Treatment of Obesity." Clinical Psychology (1978):
* Silverman conducted two subliminal perception experiments with a women's group of 26 and another with 30 ladies.
The women were on average at least 15% overweight. There were 2 groups, a 'control group' and a 'subliminal group' and . Both groups were given a little education on weight loss and how to eat healthy i.e. how to reward themselves for eating healthily, to eat only at regular meal times, how to record calories accurately.
* At the start and end of all the sessions, everyone was asked to imagine a situation in which they would be tempted to over eat. At this stage they were exposed to a subliminal message for 4 milliseconds. The "subliminal group" saw a weight loss based subliminal message. The "control group" a neutral subliminal message.
* The results showed that in both of the experiments the subliminal group lost far more weight than the control group. It was concluded then that the use of subliminal messaging has the ability to help people treat their over eating habits and in turn aid their weight loss.*
Dr. Becker conducted a Weight Loss study that showed that the use of subliminal messages can have amazing results:
* In Metairie, Louisiana, at Dr. Becker's weight loss clinic, his patients were exposed to both audio (heard cassette tape subliminal messages) and visual (videotapes containing subliminals) subliminals.
* One of his patients lost 100 pounds within one year. When Dr. Becker did follow up he found 50% of the patients maintained over half their weight loss for up to 2 years following the subliminal program. Even more impressive was that 23% of his patients maintained between 75% and 100% of their total weight loss. The figures were significantly better than diet programs in which he did not use subliminal messages.*
* Results are not guaranteed and may vary per individual.
SUBLIMINALS USED IN ADVERTISING TODAY - PROOF
The reality is that subliminal Messaging is happening all around us, all the time. It is in media, TV, music, film and politics. We are continually being conditioned to believe and think certain ways without any rational reasoning. Many of us are not consciously aware that it is happening, yet, it is continually affecting our lives.
Why do you think they spend billions of Dollars on Advertising budgets???
Jeff Warrick, a filmaker and the director of Programming the Nation (2011), talks about the truth about subliminal messaging in the media today. Warrick shares a few examples of messages embedded within print ads used today, which are not likely to be seen consciously, but are admitted into the subconscious mind. (please note some of the images are explicit)
SUBLIMINAL ADVERTISING LEAVES IT'S MARK ON THE BRAIN
University College London researchers have found the first physiological evidence that invisible subliminal images do attract the brain's attention on a subconscious level. The wider implication for the study, published in Current Biology, is that techniques such as subliminal advertising, now banned in the UK but still legal in the USA, certainly do leave their mark on the brain.
Using fMRI, the study looked at whether an image you aren't aware of - but one that reaches the retina - has an impact on brain activity in the primary visual cortex, part of the occipital lobe.
Subjects' brains did respond to the object even when they were not conscious of having seen it. This research shows that when your brain doesn't have the capacity to pay attention to an image, even images that act on our subconscious simply do not get registered."
Dr Bahador Bahrami, of the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and the UCL Department of Psychology, said: "What's interesting here is that your brain does log things that you aren't even aware of and can't ever become aware of”.

THE MIND CAN "HEAR" AUDIO SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES
Study: Kaser, V.A. "The Effects of an Auditory Subliminal Perception Message Upon the Production of Images and Dreams". Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease (1986).
* Subjects listened to audio subliminal messaging. The subliminal message was mixed with a regular music recording. Another group of subjects simply listened to music recorded without subliminals.
* Both groups were asked to create a pre-test drawing before and then immediately after the music had been played as well as a drawing of any dreams they had the previous night.
* The effects of the subliminal message could be seen after the drawings had been examined. The subjects drawings who listened to the music with subliminal hidden messaging contained images relating to the suggestions they were listening to. The control group on the other hand had no correlation.
* Kaser proved the existence of subliminal perception and said that "the unconscious/subconscious mind is able to perceive a recorded verbal message that cannot be consciously heard".
Dr. Becker conducted a study where experimental and control groups were asked to guess a three-digit number.
* The experimental group was exposed to the three digit number that was subliminally embedded into a pink noise audio track. (similar to white noise)
* Three different trials were done. 77% of people exposed to the subliminal numbers guessed the number correctly. Compared to only 10% of people in the control groups who weren't exposed subliminally to the exact same numbers. This once again confirms that subliminal messages are perceived at a subconscious level.
British Researchers Have Shown Messages We Are Not Aware Of, Can Leave A Mark On The Brain
Researchers found that briefly displaying subliminal messages so quickly that people do not even consciously notice, does nevertheless change their thinking.
Professor Lavie believes that the ability to subconsciously pick up fleeting signals could have developed as a way of picking up fleeting warnings.
“Clearly, there are evolutionary advantages to responding rapidly to emotional information,” she said. “We can’t wait for our consciousness to kick in if we see someone running towards us with a knife or if we drive under rainy or foggy weather conditions and see a sign warning ‘danger’”.
Professor Lavie believes the research may have implications for the use of subliminal marketing to convey messages, both for advertising and public service announcements such as safety campaigns.

SUBLIMINAL EXPERIMENT - TOY STORE SUBLIMINALS
In order to explore Perception Without Awareness and the 'subliminal messaging' Derren invites Alice to Hamleys Toy store to pick out a toy at random but can he manipulate her to buy the toy he wants her to buy?
She how Derren Brown's experiement with subliminals works!
Subliminals are powerful - you won't believe this!
THE POWER OF SUBLIMINAL STIMULUS
Study: Shevrin, H. "Does the Averaged Evoked Response Encode Subliminal Perception? Yes." (1975):
* Research proved that people's response rate to a certain stimulus was statistically and significantly higher when presented in a subliminal fashion, compared to those people who were consciously aware of the stimulus.
* It was found that despite people being unaware of the stimuli (subliminal message), measurements suggest that the subconscious mind still registers and picks up on the subliminal information. It was found that the mind reponds better than if the message was received under regular conditions.
IMPROVE STUDY SKILLS
Study: Parker, K.A. "Effects of Subliminal Symbiotic Stimulation on Academic Performance: Further Evidence on the Adaptation-Enhancing Effects of Oneness Fantasies." Journal of Counseling Psychology (1982):
* 60 college students studying law received subliminal messages before 3 of their 5 lectures per week. The subliminal messages were also flashed to them before and after a brief counseling session.
* Once again it was proved that subliminal messaging had an impact on higher grades as those law students received significantly better grades than those that didn't see the subliminal messages.
SUBLIMINAL ENHANCEMENTS BOOST LEARNING CAPACITY
Study: Cook, H., Ph.D. "Effects of Subliminal Symbiotic Gratification and the Magic of Believing on Achievement." Psychoanalytic Psychology (1985):
Students from a university were split into groups and exposed to either a control message or a subliminal message immediately after their class. This was done by flashing a 4 millisecond duration subliminal messages for 12 sessions.
* It was found that the students who received the subliminal messages performed better in their end of year exams than those students who received the control message.
* The research concluded that stimulating students subliminally to feel good about themselves i.e. better self esteem enabled them to learn better and more efficiently.
IMPROVES MATH SKILLS
Ariam, S. and Siller, J. "Effects of Subliminal Oneness Stimuli in Hebrew on Academic Performance of Israeli High School Students. " Journal of Abnormal Psychology (1982):
* 10th grade Hebrew students were shown subliminal messages saying; "Mommy and I are one", "My teacher and I are one" and "People are walking in the street" (the neutral statement). These Students received the subliminal messages four times per week for six weeks.
* It was found that after the six week period, the students who were exposed to the ""Mommy and I are one" subliminal message scored much higher in their maths exam then the control group.
Psychologists claim that messages such as "Mommy and I are one" boosted the Hebrew students self esteem and as a result helped them learn better.
HELPS TO QUIT SMOKING
Study: Palmatier, J.R., and Bornstein, P.H. "Effects of Subliminal Stimulation of Symbiotic Merging Fantasies on Behavioral Treatment of Smokers." The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease (1980)
* 34 people partook in a three week, group-oriented smoking cessation therapy. One group received subliminal messages, the other group didn't.
* The study found that those smokers that received subliminal messages during their therapy affected their behavior in terms of having a much lower relapse rate.
